On Sundays

KidZone JR

• During the 8:30am service, we offer a safe, caring environment for children age 6 weeks through 4 years/PreK.  Childcare offered for infants to 23 months are offered.  Separate Sunday School classes are available for two year old, three year old children and fours/PreK.
• During the 10:30am service, we offer childcare for infants through 3 years in our nursery, two-year-old room, and three-year-old room.  Four year olds and PreK have Sunday School in their classroom.

On Wednesdays

AWANA

• During Awana on Wednesday evenings, nursery and Cubbies are (3s & 4s by 9-1-10) is available only for the children of our volunteers.

Nursery/Preschool Parent Co-op

In order for our nursery/preschool to function, we need to use a parent co-op system.  This means that if you are using the nursery/preschool, you give back by serving.  Through the parent co-op, one or both parents are expected to participate in serving (this could be mom or dad or both).  This involves volunteering for one service once every four weeks.  If you are not currently serving, please contact Rachel Sackett (608.786.4929 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Nursery services may also be available at other events at First Free. If you are interested in the services provided at a specific event, please contact Pastor Art, Rachel Sackett or his assistant to find out if nursery services are provided.

We have a Nursing/Cry Room off of the Worship Center for mothers to use. This room is available only to women, to provide a space (including couches, rocking chairs, and a changing table) for you to continue to participate in the worship service as well as care for your child’s needs.

We hold the safety of your children as a high value here at First Free and to provide a safe place for them to learn, play, sing, and have fun.  All of our volunteers go thourgh a screening process including a background check and reference checks.

We also have a check-in system that is designed to keep your children safe.  When you come to the KidZone area, you will be greeted by our kiosk volunteers who are there to help you get checked in and answer any questions you may have.  All children will get a name tag that includes a 4-digit number that is randomly assigned and matches the number on the Parent Pick-Up tag.  This allows us to verify that every child goes with the correct adult.  As a courtesy to parents, we also use the 4-digit number to alert parents during the service if there is an issue with their child.  There is a number box in the worship center located next to the right screen that will flash the 4 digits of your child's number if we need your attention to the situation.  Our staff and volunteers work hard to create an enviornment that allows you and your children to enjoy your time with us.

Special Events
